Eating and drinking at Hotel New York is always a special experience. The ground floor features a large café-restaurant, where 400 guests can enjoy an extensive or simple a-la-carte meal in any price category from early in the morning until late at night. High ceilings, colorful lights, sturdy nautical elements and robust tubes and pillars provide a very special atmosphere to the restaurant, where there is always a pleasant buzz going on.

Hotel New York opened October 2015 a new restaurant in the basement of her nostalgic building on the Rotterdam Wilhelminapier: NY Basement. NY Basement is smaller, more intimate and more exclusive than the present well known concept on the ground floor. Within the classical interiors the visitors will feel like being back in times gone by. Just as if ‘The Basement’ has been in the building ever since. Guests can come and visit NY Basement to dine in the restaurant, enjoy drinks at the enormous bar or taste one of the delicious cocktails.
