Spending a night at Loevestein Castle is truly an unforgettable experience. Within the walls of the stronghold is the former commander’s quarters, which have now been restored to their former glory. You are invited to spend a comfortable night or a luxurious weekend in these first-class quarters – Suite & Breakfast.
Furthermore you can stay overnight in a Soldier’s Cottage. This authentic cotttage used to be a home for several soldiers and their families. Wouldn’t it be nice to stop on your cycling tour and spend the night without pitching your tent?
You’ll be struck by Loevestein’s history and ambiance the moment you step through its gates. Stroll down its garrison’s streets, wander around its magnificent chestnut tree and take in its views. At night, the castle gates close and it becomes so quiet you can almost reach out and touch the silence.
Host Tim Schrijver and hostess Renate Vos welcome you in the stronghold. When you wake up after a good night’s rest, there will be an organic breakfast with local products ready for you. Specific requirements can be discussed with the host(ess). You can check in any time after 4 p.m. and check out before 11 a.m. There’s no rush. You can take your time packing your bags and checking out.
